the context in france
From Vision to Impact
Since its launch in 2023, Paris Epicentre has become a vibrant center of spiritual, cultural, and social transformation. From church growth and new church plants to arts, outreach, and intercession, over 1,000 people pass through its doors weekly—each one touched by the Gospel or the values of the Kingdom of God. What began as a dream has become a catalytic space for mission, unity, and renewal in Paris and beyond.
Clear Growth
Since moving into Paris Epicentre's premises, La Cité Church has doubled in size, with each service now approaching 280 people, including children. The team of leaders has grown from 20 to 60 over the same period. All in all, thanks to all the socio-cultural activities that take place in Paris Epicentre's rooms, over 1,000 people frequent the premises every week. 1,000 people who are exposed to the Gospel or to the values of the Kingdom of God. And this number continues to grow!
The Harvest Is Ready—And So Are the Laborers!
Growth is both a blessing and a responsibility. Yet God is faithful. In recent months, He has stirred the hearts of several believers—with a desire to impact France and carry the vision of Paris Epicentre forward.
These mature and faith-filled men and women—French, Dutch, German American, South African, and beyond—have been a gift from God, sent to encourage and walk alongside us in this adventure of faith.
Churches equipped and planted
Since the launch of Paris Épicentre in 2023, eleven churches have been planted or welcomed into the space. In a capital where finding suitable venues is notoriously difficult, Paris Épicentre has positioned itself from the start as both a facilitator of Christian gatherings and a church incubator.
It’s a true game changer in a country where the Christian faith often faces indifference—or even resistance—from the authorities.
A place of salt and light
Together, the churches meeting at Paris Epicentre gather several hundred people. Since moving into the premises, we've seen dozens of conversions, baptisms, discipleship journeys, couples prepared for marriage, teens equipped, families supported, and the homeless reached—lives truly transformed by the gospel.
Beyond church life, we host a variety of Kingdom-minded activities, sports clubs, choirs, music lessons, ballet with world-class dancers, art exhibitions, coworking, street evangelism, and outreach to the homeless. Every week, hundreds of adults and children engage in these activities—giving believers the chance to embody God’s love and wisdom to those around them.
As a result, Paris Épicentre is gaining growing visibility both in the neighborhood and across the city.
A headquarters for Christian networks
Thanks to its central location and its various spaces, Paris Epicentre was able to host a number of important events for the Kingdom of God in France and Europe: the annual meetings of the Conseil National des Evangéliques de France (CNEF), the organization that represents 70% of the country's evangelical churches and is their spokesperson to the Government and the media, the European conference of the NCMI (New Covenant Ministries International) church network, a global network very active in church planting that brought together 110 pastors and leaders from all over Europe and beyond, Ensemble 2024 set up its missionary operational base during the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Every day on average, 350 people were on the premises: evangelism training, concerts, evangelism shows, volunteer resourcing, etc. Nearly 10,000 Bibles were distributed during the Games.
A place to build unity
Since October 2024, we've been inviting 4 or 5 pastors from Paris for a fraternal lunch. Just building authentic relationships and caring for God's servants with whom we share the same vision: winning Paris and France for Jesus!
A place for the Nations
In the past, God led us to organize a 6-week marriage preparation course in Russian for six Slavic couples. Today, some of them are active members of La Cité and of a home group that specifically brings together Slavic and Russian-speaking people. They are a great blessing to our community.
A confirmed business model
Obviously as a non-profit organization, profitability is not Paris Epicentre's objective. But right from the start of the project, we had to find an economic model that would enable the venue to operate independently and with quality. 2024 was the first full year of operation, and the figures are in: a slight profit was made, with a room reservation rate of 25% and communication based mainly on word of mouth. There is real room for improvement, and we are actively working with both dedicated staff members and volunteers to improve these figures for the financial health of Paris Epicentre and a greater impact for the Kingdom of God.
